Gerald Celente buys gold, predicts US revolution

with 8 comments

If only Gerald Celente had not been right so many times before. If you visit YouTube there is a complete library of correct predictions. He recommended gold first in 2006. Now he is talking about the breakdown of law-and-order in America as the country experiences a period worse than the Great Depression. He sees President Obama’s mission impossible for what it is – I just hope he is wrong!

  1. Africa doesn’t, the starving children their that have no food because of corrupt officials and many other sad reasons at least deserve food to eat. Surely the citizens of planet earth should be able to help each other eat at least!!

If 50 billion had been put to better use over the last 50 years, they would be first world consumers by now, meaning that they would be buying US Hummers and UK steel and coming to spend their hard earned money in our economies on their vacations!!

    Speculate to accumulate my friend.

  3. Hey Bill! “……had better check the internet on how much food is exported (much given away FREE as foreign aid) from the USA & Canada”

US Aid is one of the main reasons Africa is still starving. Aid pledged to foreign Governments gets put into a US bank account and never leaves the USA. “Free” food given to starving nations simply puts these countries in debt to The good ole USA and does nothing to help these countries escape poverty and grow their own food/economies. Did you also know that since 1949 only $50 billion in aid has been given to Africa by ALL countries put together ? No ? Well that is a fact, and a pretty tragic one when you consider how many $$$ have been evaporated trying to help the US car companies alone !!

P.S remember you need OIL to work the subs and the US war machine and the US now only produces 2% of what it uses. Good luck to you my friend !

  4. Anyone rejoicing about the prospect of a revolution in the USA, or thinking about doing us harm, had better check the internet on how much food is exported (much given away FREE as foreign aid) from the USA & Canada (you think that it will be business as usual up there, with a 4,000 mile shared border. I don’t think so!). You take the food exported by the USA out of the world’s food supply, and hundreds of millions of people will starve. A lot of the rest will go broke, as the price of food left in international trade will explode. And, if the USA goes down, the world’s policeman will suddenly disappear. (Although the Trident submarines, each armed with 240 H-bombs, will still roam the oceans, ever ready to turn any foreign power, foolish or crazy enough to think that it might be a good time to attack, into a poisoned, radioactive cinder. Don’t think for one second that those sub crews won’t launch. It is like one big family inside a submarine. All the crew members are volunteers. They follow orders). With the cop gone, numerous wars could break out almost immediately. Remember when the USSR thought about attacking China in the 1960’s before China could effectively retaliate? Nixon went to China. Remember the constant parade of ministers & secretaries from the UK & USA to India and Pakistan a few years back? You think they just needed some frequent flier miles? Two nuclear wars were possibly averted by the world’s cop. Actually, the USA could end up as one of the safest places to be during a global meltdown, since the Atlantic, Pacific, and Arctic Oceans are very large, and Panama very narrow with a rather large open desert area to the north of it! Good luck getting thru both from outside. With all the oil, gas, coal and uraniun in Canada and Alaska, we could actually ride out any foreign wars quite comfortably. Good luck.

  5. A reality which the american citizens are going to have to come to terms with very quickly is that their country is broke. Even if the huge amounts of foreign debt are defaulted on, where is the money going to come from to support the economy once foreigners stop supplementing the budget by way of treasury purchases?
There is going to be a radical drop in US standards of living which will be the exact opposite of consumerism. Anyone who can ‘afford’ to save will be counted as the lucky ones. most will hardly be able to make ends meet. This nightmare is coming to you soon.

  6. Thats the typical american attitude, mage. Why worry about tommorow, lets just get what we want today! This is not about attitudes, mage. THIS IS REALITY. Like Celente says, America is a worm-eaten husk. The honeymoon is OVER.

  7. Oh Come on!! Extreme optimism is crazy and extreme pessimism is even more crazy. Just deal with things on a day to day basis.
